The ministries and mission of DaySpring are supported by the offerings given by

DaySpring members and friends.

We offer several ways to give to DaySpring:

SECURELY GIVE ONLINE

Online giving allows you to prayerfully choose an amount and frequency of your giving, and then it is set, preventing forgetfulness or unforeseen events from hindering your giving.

Select Fund from the drop-down menu.

Select One-Time or Recurring gift.

Payments by Credit Card and Direct Bank Withdrawal (ACH) are accepted.

Standard Processing Fees

Credit/Debit Cards 2.9% + $0.30/transaction 2 Business Days

Bank Transfers (ACH) 1% + $0.25/transaction 7 Business Days

Gifts of Stocks and Legacy Giving

From time to time, members will choose to give in other ways: stocks or other securities to further the mission of DaySpring. By donating stock, you can:

Eliminate capital gains tax
Qualify for a charitable deduction based on the full fair market value, provided you’ve held the stock for over a year and itemize deductions
Directly contribute to our ongoing initiatives to embody the love of Christ

IRA Distributions

A person may give a Qualified Charitable Distribution (“QCD”) to DaySpring from their Individual Retirement Account (“IRA”). A key requirement: he/she must be, at a minimum, 70 and 1/2 years old.

Also, if they already receive Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs), a charitable donation directly from their IRA can reduce the total RMD for the year by the amount given. In this scenario, the QCD cannot exceed $100,000.00 annually. Married taxpayers already receiving RMDs may EACH give up to that $100,000.00 from their own IRA, each year, for a total of $200,000.00. per couple.

Each person should consult his/her financial advisor before taking this approach to ensure they qualify to take these actions.
