Our Campus
W E L C O M E
The campus of DaySpring has seen several phases, from the borrowed building down the road and our first building, the Stokes Chapel to the addition of our children's building and extension of the DaySpring sanctuary. The constant changes are indicative of our growth as a congregation, of which we are thankful.

The design of our campus follows our motto, Sacred & Simple, but also efforts are made in the following areas:
Sustainable
Our efforts as a congregation to reduce our carbon footprint include clean energy sources and composting.
Natural
As a campus nestled along a creek, we have attempted to leave much of the land as is, also earning a Natural Habitat designation.
Intentional
The few cultivated efforts on the land include a field ready for picnics and play and a veggie garden with food to share.
W H A T ' S N E X T ?
In the Spring of 2024, our congregation entered a building campaign to raise $1 Million for the expansion and redesign of our existing offices and children's classrooms as well as adding an adequate space for youth and all-church gatherings. Read more about the Giving Back, Building Forward campaign below.

DaySpring has made intentional efforts to live in community with the creation around us.
PRAYER TRAILS
Our prayer trails meander through an oak grove and property that lines a flowing creek. There are highlights along the way like the Psalm 23 trail and St. Julian's Circle. See the trail map below.
GARDENS AND NATIVE PLANTS
DaySpring's community garden is cultivated with organic gardening practices and uses our compost.
Our flower beds are planted with native Texas plants. See below for our planting guide.
WILDLIFE AND BIRDING
DaySpring's grounds were designated a National Wildlife Federation Certified Wildlife Habitat designation, recognizing we engage in sustainable practices that promote a nurturing environment for native wildlife to find food, water, and a place to raise young.
