Foster Village Waco

Since its inception in 2018, Foster Village Waco strives to meet basic needs for families involved in the child welfare system. Additionally, Foster Village Waco provides therapeutic support for families and promotes community engagement. For example, Foster Village Waco distributes donations from the community to create Welcome Packs for children entering a foster home. Some of the items collected and distributed during the placement process are clothing, car seats, cribs, back packs, noise machines, weighted blankets, and other basic necessities.

SUNSHINE RECOVERY HOUSE

The Sunshine Recovery House is a women’s home that provides healthy spaces, healing structures, and second chances to women in our local community suffering from debilitating substance abuse and addiction. Sunshine Recovery House provides support to these women by meeting practical needs, providing counseling services, and by helping to develop job and life skills.

URBAN PROMISE HONDURAS

The mission of Urban Promise is to equip children and young adults with the skills necessary for academic achievement, life management, spiritual growth, and Christian leadership. They fulfill this mission through after-school programs, summer camps, experiential learning, job training, and a host of other programs that challenge youth to develop and realize their potential. DaySpringer Blair Quinius is the founder of UPH and has welcomed several DaySpring groups to Copan Ruinas over the years as part of our ongoing partnership.

World Hunger Relief Farm

The World Hunger Relief Farm is a faith-based learning laboratory committed to alleviating food insecurity and malnutrition through sustainable agriculture, transformative education, and community partnerships. DaySpringers who attended this year’s Covenant Day at the farm were able to see first-hand the care and compassion poured into the land by those who live and work at the farm.
