Groundbreaking is Just the Beginning...

We’re underway! On the evening of August 3, we celebrated the beginning with official Groundbreaking. Now, we hand over the project to our builders, IconX Builders. They’ll get started as soon as they’re able, with a goal to complete the project by next spring.

This project has been made possible by the creativity and commitment of dozens and dozens of people who have been involved in the process of discernment and planning. Literally, this project has been in the making for years. And now we’re ready to begin.

Hundreds of thousands of dollars have already been contributed. This is a moment to say thank you to everyone who has put in their contributions. And also a moment to say we are still on the way and there’s a need for every person who loves DaySpring to take part. It’s the only way we’ve ever done anything and is the spirit of this project.

When the dust settles and paint dries in 2026, we’ll have reconfigured three existing buildings into one building with a single, inviting point of entry. An additional 5000 square feet of space over two floors will give us new classrooms for children and a large meeting room for youth. A Great Hall with a kitchen will flow with a large back porch we’re calling the Kaiser Terrace in honor of Pat and Kurt Kaiser. The existing playground will be relocated to accommodate the growth.

We foresee the Great Hall and Terrace are going to be the center of gravity of the community life of DaySpring. This is a significant and joy-filled step in the long process of building out the DaySpring church campus.
