Holiday Hunger Outreach

When was the last time you were hungry?

How long did you go without food? Were you fasting?

Every day, millions go without food, not because they choose to, but because they have no food.

FROM THANKS TO HOPE

Our Harvest of Thanks food basket project was wonderfully successful. Thank you to all who contributed, collected, delivered, organized, and led. Delivering those food baskets to local families so they, too, could enjoy a bountiful Thanksgiving was humbling and gratifying.

Continuing our focus on hunger for the holidays, DaySpringers want to bring hope to our neighbors. The season of Advent is a time of hope. Each week, we will highlight a local community partner that fights the hunger battle every day, all year long. They need both our time and our treasure to keep doing their missions. We hope you will also choose to help by contributing funds and volunteering. Instead of tangible physical gifts, these gifts for hunger will be DaySpring’s “Virtual Advent Tree” for 2025.
